If you are an Apple user and use your iPhone for navigation purpose then you need to be careful with the new Maps coming out in the Apple iPhone 5 (iOS6). There has been continuous criticism for the replacement of the Google maps by apple maps from all over the world.  People have been loosing ways using these maps.


Within minutes of the launch of the iOS6 operating system, which comes preloaded with Apple Maps, users were reporting that London had been relocated to Ontario, Paddington station had vanished, the Sears Tower in Chicago had shrunk, and Helsinki railway station had been turned into a park.


There’s a post on CNET that shows how bad the ios maps really are. These maps show us that the 2D maps were really better than the 3D maps. Thanks to these maps that  people are getting lost in there towns. I have used Google maps and Nokia Ovi maps and both of these seems to be great choice for me. Siri is starting to see a lot of different, yet very creative implementations. The latest is an iOS app from Avatron aptly titled Air Dictate. Air Dictate allows iPhone 4S to use Siri dictation to type for them on their Mac; it’s an intriguing use of Siri. To begin, you will need to buy Air Dictate from the App Store (99 cents).
